Overview
Congratulations on being accepted onto a Multiverse apprenticeship programme. As you wait for your first session, known as the ‘Flying Start’ session, you may be wondering what onboarding tasks you should complete to be set up for success. This guide will outline the onboarding tasks, their purpose, expected timelines, and signpost to further information.
What onboarding actions do I need to complete?
Task | Purpose | Timelines | Further Information |
Upload Evidence of Your Maths and English Level 2 Qualification | It is a government requirement for apprentices to demonstrate proficiency in maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent). This is necessary for achieving a Level 3+ apprenticeship qualification. | Ideally, submit evidence during your application. If not possible, you have 21 days after your Flying Start to upload the required documentation. If you cannot provide evidence, you will be enrolled in Functional Skills exams.
Complete an Induction Form | This form is a government compliance requirement that ensures we have the necessary information to process your apprenticeship. | Please complete ahead of your Flying Start.
Complete Onboarding Modules | These modules are designed to familiarise you with the apprenticeship experience and cover the essentials to make the most of your live session. | Please complete ahead of your Flying Start.
Sign Your Training Plan | Your Training Plan (also known as a commitment statement or apprenticeship agreement) serves as a contract that clearly outlines your apprenticeship expectations and responsibilities. | You and your manager will receive the Training Plan via email approximately 2 days before your Flying Start session. We encourage you to sign it promptly, but you have a maximum of 42 days to do so.
Join Your Live Flying Start Session | The Flying Start session marks the official commencement of your apprenticeship. This live session is an opportunity to learn more about what to expect, meet your peers, and begin your journey. | The date and time of your Flying Start session will be confirmed via a calendar invite at least one week in advance (possibly less for late onboarders). Please keep an eye on your inbox! |
