A Guide to Completing Projects Throughout Your Programme

Projects are a core part of your apprenticeship, giving you the chance to apply what you've learned in a practical way and build a strong portfolio of your work throughout your time on the programme.

Getting Started with Projects

🔍Where to Find Your Projects

You can access your project hub in two ways:

🆕How to Start and Complete a Project

Follow these steps to begin your work and fill out your submission:

  1. Go to the Projects page: Find this in the 'Projects' tab on the left-hand side of your apprentice portal.

  3. Click "Start project": This will create your project submission and set its status to 'In Progress'.

  4. Complete the submission: Fill in the submission title and complete all the required tasks.

    1. Understanding KSBs: You can click the KSB button in the top right of each task to see the specific Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours you need to demonstrate. This is key to building a successful portfolio. Important: Ensure you cite in your work where you are demonstrating each KSB; without doing this, your work may be returned unmarked. To cite a KSB, simply highlight in brackets where each is being demonstrated, e.g. (K10).

    2. Format your work: If you need to add images, lists, or other formatting, click the blue '+' icon that appears when you start a new line. Important: Please do not include links to other documents, as it is unlikely your marker/examiner will be able to access this. Instead, upload screenshots of relevant evidence, ensuring any unnecessary or sensitive data is redacted.

5. Submit your project: Once you are finished, click the "Submit project" button. The status will update to Awaiting review.
