Can I edit or modify my Multiverse application after submission?

Post-Submission Modification Policy

Once The Candidate submits an application via The Platform, the application is locked to ensure the integrity of The Admissions Team review process. No direct edits or modifications are permitted by The Candidate after the final submission button is selected. This policy also applies to applications that have been started but not yet submitted; details entered in earlier stages of a "draft" application cannot be retroactively modified.

Permitted Exceptions and Communications

Direct modifications are only possible if initiated by Multiverse.

  • Information Requests: If The Admissions Team identifies a need for clarification or additional documentation, they will contact The Candidate directly.

  • Admissions Authority: Only The Admissions Team has the authority to request or append information to an existing application file. The Support Team does not have the permissions required to edit application data on behalf of The Candidate.

What to Do If the Error Is Critical

If an error in the application is critical, The Candidate can restart with a new application. The correct route depends on the application type.

Diagnose and Prescribe (DP) applications:

The Candidate can withdraw the application and restart without contacting the Multiverse Support Team. Withdrawing cannot be undone. For full steps, see How to Withdraw Your Application Yourself.

Non-DP applications:
Contact the Multiverse Support Team through this Support Hub. Account deletion is only appropriate when the Support Team directs it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Questions

Answers

Question: Can a Candidate send additional documents to the Admissions Team after submission?

Answer: No. The Candidate cannot unilaterally send additional content to amend a submitted application. The Admissions Team will reach out if further information is required.

Question: Can the Multiverse Support Team edit a Candidate’s application details?

Answer: No. The Support Team is not authorised to modify application data. All applications are reviewed exactly as they were submitted by The Candidate.

Question: Is it possible to change eligibility answers after an application is submitted?

Answer: No. Eligibility questions are fixed upon submission and cannot be altered by The Candidate.

Question: What is the risk of deleting an account to reapply?

Answer: Account deletion is rarely the right route. The Candidate on a Diagnose and Prescribe (DP) application can withdraw and restart without deleting anything. Deletion is only appropriate when the Multiverse Support Team directs it. It removes all progress, risks missing cohort deadlines, and can fail where Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) rules require data to be retained.
