After your Gateway is approved, your End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) confirms your EPA date by email within 10 working days. The exact timing depends on which EPAO is assigned to your programme.
How Accelerate People (AP) books your EPA
Accelerate People books your EPA interview date after your Gateway is approved. AP uses the unavailability you submitted on your Gateway form to choose a date.
You receive an email titled End Point Assessment confirming the date. Allow up to 10 working days from when your exam board has processed your Gateway forms.
If your programme includes a Work-Based Project (WBP), the End Point Assessment email arrives the day before your WBP officially starts. This email confirms three things:
1. Your WBP start date.
2. Your WBP submission deadline.
3. Your EPA assessment date.
How 1st for EPA books your EPA
1st for EPA books your interview using the unavailability you submitted on your Gateway form.
You receive an email confirmation within 2 working days of your exam board processing your Gateway forms.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Questions | Answers |
Question: It has been more than 10 working days since my Gateway. What should I do? | Answer: First, check your junk or spam folder. The confirmation email is automated and is sometimes filtered.
If the email is not in spam and more than 10 working days have passed, contact the Multiverse support team. Do not continue waiting. Delays at this stage can be caused by the EPAO or by a Gateway processing issue on the Multiverse side, and support can investigate both. |
Question: I have received my EPA date but I cannot attend. Can I reschedule? | Answer: Yes, in most cases. Contact the Multiverse support team and provide the dates you cannot attend. Support coordinates with the EPAO to find an alternative. |
Question: Can I change my WBP submission deadline? | Answer: The WBP submission deadline is fixed and is not moved for standard reasons such as annual leave or workload. Extenuating circumstances, for example illness or bereavement, are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact the Multiverse support team if you believe extenuating circumstances apply. |
Question: I have received the End Point Assessment email but it does not contain my date. What should I do? | Answer: Contact the Multiverse support team and ask for the full confirmation email to be re-sent. Some learners receive a partial confirmation without all the expected details. |
