How apprentices can update details such as their name, address, telephone number and preferred pronouns

Current personal details ensure that Multiverse communications, documents, and certificates reach you correctly. This article explains how to update your name, home address, telephone number, and preferred pronouns yourself on The Platform, and how to change your email address through the Multiverse Support Team.


Updating Your Name, Address, or Phone Number

You can update most of your personal details yourself in User Settings.

Follow these steps.

  1. Log in to The Platform at https://platform.multiverse.io.

  2. Click Home to open your apprentice dashboard.

  3. Select User Settings from the left-hand navigation.

  4. Choose Personal info to update your name, telephone number, or preferred pronouns. Choose Address info to update your home address.

  5. Edit the relevant fields, check your entries, and click Save.

Your changes take effect immediately. You can update these details as often as you need to.

Changing Your Email Address

Your email address is your unique login identifier for The Platform, so you cannot change it yourself in User Settings. To change it, contact the Support Team using the messenger widget in the bottom right-hand corner of this page. The Support Team verifies your identity for security reasons before making the change.

To help the Support Team resolve your request quickly, include two things in your first message.

  1. The reason for the change, for example leaving your employer or moving to a new company.

  2. The new email address you want to use.

After your email address is updated, reset your password using your new email address to log back in to The Platform.

Question: How do I change my email address?

Answer: You cannot change your email address yourself. Contact the Support Team using the messenger widget, and the Support Team will change it after verifying your identity.

Question: Why can I not change my email address myself?

Answer: Your email address is your unique login identifier on The Platform. The Support Team changes it for you to protect your account and prevent duplicate accounts.

Question: Do I need to do anything after my email address is changed?

Answer: Yes. Reset your password using your new email address. You need your new password to log back in to The Platform.

Question: Will changing my email address affect my Community Hub access?

Answer: The Community Hub is a separate system from The Platform. Tell the Support Team if you use the Community Hub, so the Support Team can update it as well.

Question: How often can I update my personal details?

Answer: You can update your name, address, telephone number, and pronouns as often as you need to. There is no limit.

Question: What should I do if my update will not save?

Answer: Refresh the page and check your internet connection, then try again. Contact the Support Team if the problem continues.
