Participating in one of our apprenticeships is an exciting opportunity to expand your skills and career prospects. As part of your application, you answer a series of questions in the programme matcher. This guide covers what you may be asked. For the process from start to finish, see What happens after I express interest in a Multiverse programme? We may contact you for more information after you have submitted your application.
Before You Apply: Speak to Your Manager
Before you apply, it's crucial to discuss your intentions with your manager. Their support will be integral to your success in the apprenticeship. We only contact your manager in some cases, for example if we need to confirm the duties of your programme. For when, see When will Multiverse contact my manager?
What You Might Be Asked
Your skills, role and career goals: what you do now, what you can already do, and where you want to go.
Eligibility: Apprenticeships are funded by the government, so you must meet specific criteria, such as your working hours, contract and right to work. Access detailed information on these requirements here.
Prior learning: An apprenticeship must teach you significant new knowledge, skills and behaviours. You are asked what you already know and can do, to avoid duplicating existing skills. Learn more about prior learning here.
Your role: Your role must let you apply what you learn from the apprenticeship meaningfully. You are asked about the duties of each programme to check this. Explore the specific requirements of each programme here.
Shift work (weekends and evenings).
Anything that could affect your ability to complete the apprenticeship, for example upcoming role changes.
Whether you are ready to commit to the programme you choose.
