This guide clarifies how Accelerate People's closures will impact your End-Point Assessment (EPA) deadlines and overall timeline.
Accelerate People's Office Closures 🎄
Accelerate People's offices will be closed on the following dates:
Thursday, 4th December 2025: Closed for an all-company offsite day.
Wednesday, 24th December 2025: Last day the office is open for Christmas. EPAs can still take place on this day.
Thursday, 25th December 2025 to Sunday, 4th January 2026 (inclusive): Closed for the Christmas holiday period.
Monday, 5th January 2026: The office officially reopens.
How Christmas Closures Affect Your EPA Deadlines and Time Allowance
Accelerate People ensures that all apprentices receive their full entitlement of time for their EPAs:
EPA Scheduling: EPAs will continue up to and including December 24th, 2025.
EPA Grade Release: Every effort will be made to issue your final grades before the Christmas break. If this is not possible, grades will be released quickly in January, well within the standard service level agreement (SLA).
Work-Based Project Deadlines: If your EPA period spans the Christmas holiday, Accelerate People will amend and extend your work-based project return date to give you the correct time allowance.
How Closure Dates Affect Your EPA deadline
The extended time added to your EPA project deadline covers all closure days, including Bank Holidays and company closure days:
The three Bank Holidays (25th and 26th December 2025, and 1st January 2026).
The four Accelerate People closure days (29th, 30th, 31st December 2025, and 2nd January 2026).
Multiverse Note: If your EPA project deadline is affected by these closures, the official correspondence you receive from Accelerate People will be adapted to clearly state your revised return date.
