By monitoring progress through The Platform, Line Managers ensure that Applied Learning translates directly into business impact.

Access to The Line Manager Dashboard is an automated process managed by The Platform. The Apprentice provides the contact details for The Line Manager during the application phase. Once The Apprentice is approved to begin their programme, The Line Manager automatically receives a welcome email containing a secure account setup link.


Troubleshooting Missing Apprentices in the Dashboard

If The Apprentice is not visible within The Line Manager Dashboard, it is usually due to specific status requirements or technical configuration issues on The Platform.

Prerequisites for Apprentice Visibility

  • Flying Start Onboarding: The Apprentice will only appear in The Line Manager Dashboard after attending their initial onboarding session, known as Flying Start. This session transitions The Apprentice to "On Programme" status.

  • On Programme Status: The Platform must reflect an "On Programme" status for the profile to sync with the view of The Line Manager.

  • Enrolment Confirmation: Visibility is dependent on The Apprentice signing their training plan and completing full enrolment.

Technical Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Verify Role Settings: The Line Manager should confirm they are logged in using the correct role via the role switcher in the top-right corner of The Platform.

  2. Browser Maintenance: The Line Manager should clear the browser cache and cookies, then log out and log back in.

  3. Apprentice Assignment: The Line Manager should confirm with their organisation’s administrator that The Apprentice is correctly assigned to their specific manager account.

  4. System Sync Time: Note that it may take up to 24 hours for The Platform to reflect status updates (such as the completion of Flying Start).
