Overview of Module Visibility on The Platform
The Platform is designed to prioritise active tasks to streamline the Apprentice experience. Consequently, completed or historical modules may be hidden from the primary dashboard. Missing modules are typically not "lost" but are subject to specific visibility filters, program transitions, or staged release protocols.
How to View Completed Learning Modules
If a previously finished module is no longer visible in the Learning tab, The Apprentice should utilise the visibility toggle:
Navigate: Go to the main Learning tab on The Platform.
Toggle Visibility: Locate the button labeled "Show completed modules" in the top right-hand corner.
Action: Click the button to reveal all historical modules alongside outstanding tasks. The Apprentice can toggle this view as needed to manage dashboard clutter.
Systemic Reasons for Module Invisibility
Beyond manual filters, certain modules may be hidden or removed due to the following Multiverse administrative rules:
Taster Module Removal: Once The Apprentice enrols in a full apprenticeship programme, any introductory or "taster" modules are automatically removed. These modules cannot be restored.
Cohort Transitions: If The Apprentice transitions to a new cohort (e.g., following a break in learning), modules from the previous cohort will not be retained in the new dashboard view.
Staged Release: Access to specific modules is often "staged." These are released progressively based on Applied Learning milestones.
Container Modules (Parent/Child Hierarchy): Some modules are nested within a "container." For example, The Apprentice may find "Module 9" located inside a container titled "Module 5 β Hackathon."
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Questions | Answers |
Question: What should an Apprentice do if a module is missing and the "Show completed modules" toggle is already on? | Answer: The Apprentice should check for Container Modules or verify if the module is part of a Staged Release. If the module is still not found, The Apprentice must contact The Coach for assistance. |
Question: Can taster modules be restored once an Apprentice begins a full programme? | Answer: No. Taster modules are permanently removed upon full enrolment to ensure the Apprentice focus remains on the core curriculum. |
Question: Why are modules from a previous cohort missing after a break in learning? | Answer: During a cohort transition, The Platform resets the dashboard to reflect the current programme requirements. Historical modules from the previous cohort are not migrated to the new view. |
