Guidance on how to download content from My Multiverse to enable offline learning and note taking

Overview

For apprentices with My Multiverse as their learning platform, this is home to all your modules and workshops. Although we deliver all our content online, some apprentices may wish to access our content offline. This guide will explain how.


1) Select Content

Once you’ve logged into the platform, select the page you would like to access offline.

In this instance, it’s AI, Agents, and Machine Learning.

2) Expand any Transcripts and Drop Downs

You will now land on the main content page. Before you go onto the next steps, make sure you expand any transcripts or drop-down menus on the page. This will allow you to read through video content offline as well as access any key glossaries, descriptions, or answers that may be reduced.

3) Download Content

Now that you’ve prepped the page for download, you can follow the steps below depending on the browser you have.

Google Chrome

  • Select the vertical dotted line in the top right corner

  • Select Print from the menu

  • You’ll be directed to a pop-out version of the page. This may be blank so please use the side menu and update the options to the below:

    • Destination: Save as PDF

    • Layout: Landscape

More Settings

  • Paper Size: A2 or bigger to provide white space for note-taking

  • Background Graphics: Tick this

  • If you are planning on printing the document: You can also use the scale option - setting this at 60% allows for white space to be included on the A4 printout

Click save - This will now enter your downloads folder where you will be able to access the PDF.

Microsoft Edge

  • Select the horizontal dotted line in the top right corner

  • Select Print from the menu

More Settings

Safari

  • Select File in the top left toolbar

  • Scroll to ‘Export as PDF’
