Overview

We’re excited you're considering applying for a Career Starter Apprenticeship! Our sign-up process is designed to ensure all candidates meet our eligibility criteria, which helps maintain the quality and integrity of our programmes. If you don’t meet these criteria or if there’s any misrepresentation of your qualifications, your profile might be rejected. But don't worry, you'll get feedback explaining why. If you feel there's been a mistake, our Support Team can help you out!

UK Eligibility Requirements

For your application to be approved in the UK, you need to meet the following:

  • Age: 16 years or older

  • Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK and provide evidence of this before starting your apprenticeship. Please note, employers do not offer current or future sponsorship.

  • Residency: You must have lived in the UK continuously for the past three years and spend at least 50% of your time in England.

  • Education: You shouldn’t have completed a 3+ year university degree.

  • Qualifications: You need to show proof of your GCSE English & Maths (grades 4-9, which corresponds to C-A*), or a functional skills equivalent qualification. More details here.

US Eligibility Requirements

For your application to be approved in the US, you need to meet the following:

  • Age: 18 years or older

  • Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the US. This can be verified with a US Passport, Permanent Resident Card, Driver’s License/ID plus Social Security Number, or Employment Authorization Document. Please note, employers do not offer current or future sponsorship, and this will be checked upon hire.

  • Education: You shouldn’t be enrolled in or have completed a 4+ year recognized degree.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I apply if I have completed a degree?

  • Our mission at Multiverse is to kickstart careers through apprenticeships, focusing on individuals who haven’t completed university education. This ensures we’re offering opportunities to those who need them most.

Can I complete this program while enrolled in school?

  • Our programme is a full-time commitment, intended as an alternative to traditional college/university education. You'll be working full-time while also learning technical and soft skills supported by Multiverse. Because of the intensive nature of the program, we require full dedication, making it unsuitable for those pursuing a 4-year degree simultaneously.

I was previously rejected due to my age. What should I do now?

  • Great news! We’ve updated our age eligibility so there is no upper limit. If you now meet our eligibility criteria, please reach out to us so we can assist you in restarting the sign-up process and resetting your account.

I was asked to submit my grades. What’s the next step?

  • UK only: If we have requested your grades, simply provide a clear photograph or scan of your official Maths and English GCSE certificates (or equivalent). Make sure they're legible and official, as statements of results won’t be accepted. This applies to both UK and international certificates. More details here.
