This article is for any Apprentice who has been told they are not eligible, or who cannot see a programme they expected. Being told you are not eligible does not always mean the end of your application.
Many situations can be resolved, and this article explains which ones. "Not eligible" covers several different situations. Some are temporary or fixable. A small number are final. Find the section below that matches your situation.
If your maths or English evidence was not accepted
A rejected maths or English submission does not usually affect your place. Many learners are still accepted and complete their Functional Skills qualifications alongside the programme, with support from Functional Skills coaches.
For what counts as acceptable evidence, see Functional Skills Evidence Requirements.
If you think your result was based on a mistake
Sometimes a Skill Scan result is affected by a misread question, or by details that were recorded incorrectly. If you think this has happened, contact the Multiverse Support Team and explain what you believe is wrong. For most programmes, your result can then be reviewed.
If a specific programme is not available to you
Some programmes have fixed eligibility set at programme level. The AI Solutions Builder (AISB) is one of these. If you do not meet the criteria during your Skill Scan, the programme is not offered, and this outcome cannot be reviewed or overturned.
Availability can also depend on your employer's agreement with Multiverse. A programme may not appear simply because your employer's account is not set up for it in the current period.
This is not an error, and it is not something support can unlock. If a programme is not available to you, speak to your line manager about other programmes that may be a good fit.
