The Apprentice receives professional accreditation through the Institute of Leadership (IoL) as part of the Transformative Leadership or Management Jumpstart programme. The IoL is a professional body that has recognised leadership excellence since 1947.
Eligibility for This Accreditation
This accreditation is only available to Apprentices who started their Transformative Leadership or Management Jumpstart programme on or after September 2025. Apprentices who started their programme before September 2025 are not eligible for Institute of Leadership (IoL) accreditation.
What is the Institute of Leadership?
The Institute of Leadership is an internationally recognised professional body with over 80 years of heritage. It has a global community of more than 55,000 professionals. The Institute of Leadership accredits leadership and management training programmes, with a focus on modern practices such as digital leadership and inclusive management.
What You Will Receive
1. Student Membership (During the programme)
After 42 days on programme, Multiverse automatically enrols the Apprentice as a Student Member of the Institute of Leadership. The Apprentice should check their inbox for an email that contains registration instructions and account access details.
As a Student Member, the Apprentice gains the following:
Professional recognition as a registered IoL student.
Access to the IoL's resource library.
Networking opportunities within the IoL's global leadership community.
2. Professional Membership Upgrade (Upon completion)
After the Apprentice passes their End Point Assessment (EPA), Multiverse automatically arranges the following.:
Official certificate. The IoL issues an official certificate of completion by email within 5 working days of the Apprentice passing their apprenticeship.
Digital credentials. The IoL provides shareable digital badges for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
Post-nominal letters. The Apprentice receives a professional membership upgrade that grants the right to use specific letters after their name.

Important Information
Automatic processing. Multiverse processes the Apprentice's certification automatically upon programme completion.
Data sharing. To enable the IoL to issue enrolment instructions and process accreditation, Multiverse shares the Apprentice's name, email address, and programme title with the IoL. For more information about how Multiverse processes personal data, see the Multiverse Privacy Notice.
Action required. The Apprentice should add [email protected] to their safe senders list. This ensures they receive the automated welcome email and joining instructions.
