Overview
The Training Plan (also known as the Commitment Statement or Apprenticeship Agreement) is a mandatory contract between the Apprentice, the Manager (representing the Employer), and Multiverse. This document must be signed at the beginning of the apprenticeship after the application has been accepted.
Signing this document is a core compliance requirement under the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules. This guide provides instructions for accessing, troubleshooting, and executing the document via PandaDoc or DocuSign.
Delivery Timeline and The Platform
The Apprentice and The Line Manager will typically receive the Apprenticeship Training Plan via email approximately two working days prior to the programme’s Flying Start. By default, The Platform utilizes PandaDoc for automated document distribution, unless the Employer has specified a different electronic signature tool (e.g., DocuSign).
The Required Signature Sequence
The Apprenticeship Training Plan follows a strict, non-linear authorisation workflow to maintain ESFA compliance.
Step 1: Apprentice Signature: The Apprentice must access and sign the document first.
Step 2: Manager Notification: Once The Apprentice completes their signature, the system automatically triggers a notification to The Line Manager.
Step 3: Manager Signature: The Line Manager can then access the document. The signature field remains invisible to The Line Manager until Step 1 is finalized.
Note on Visibility: If The Line Manager reports a missing signature field, it indicates that The Apprentice has not yet completed their portion of the document.
