How to start an application for a different programme when applying for an apprenticeship

This article explains what to do if the Apprentice needs to switch programmes after starting an application. The correct route depends on which type of application the Apprentice is on.

You are on a non-DP application, or the Multiverse Support Team has directed you to delete your account.

Switching Programme on a DP Application (Self-Serve)

If the Apprentice is on a Diagnose and Prescribe (DP) application, the application can be withdrawn and restarted without contacting the Multiverse Support Team.

Important: A withdrawn application cannot be retrieved. The Apprentice should only withdraw if they are certain they need to restart on a different programme.

To apply for a different programme goal after withdrawing, a new invitation from the employer is required.


Deleting Your Account (Non-DP or Support-Directed)

The Apprentice should only delete their account if directed to do so by the Multiverse Support Team.

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All application progress will be lost.

Step 1: Delete Your Current Account

  1. Tap Account in the left navigation menu.

  2. Select Account Settings.

  3. In the designated field, type DELETE ACCOUNT.

  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Step 2: Start a New Application

Once the account has been deleted, the Apprentice can create a new one using the correct Skill Scan link and select from the available programmes.
