How to Withdraw Your Application Yourself

You can withdraw an in-progress or submitted application yourself, directly from your dashboard. You do not need to contact the Multiverse Support Team. This applies whether you are applying through a Skills Scan (the diagnostic assessment that matches you to a programme) or through a standard application.

Important: Withdrawing your application is permanent and cannot be undone. Only withdraw if you have been asked or instructed to restart your application. If you are unsure, speak to your employer or contact the Multiverse Support Team before you withdraw.

When to Withdraw Your Application

Withdraw your application only when you have been instructed to start a new one. This usually happens when your employer or a member of the Multiverse team asks you to restart your application from the beginning. Withdrawing permanently ends your current application. Do not withdraw simply to pause or review your application, because you cannot resume it afterwards.

How to Withdraw Your Application

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your User Home Dashboard.

  2. Find the Complete your application card.

  3. Select the '...' menu in the top right of that card.

  4. Select Withdraw application.

5. Read the confirmation message carefully.

6. Select Yes, withdraw application to confirm.

The withdrawal confirmation message warning that the action is permanent, that the application cannot be resumed, and that a new employer invitation is needed to apply again. Buttons read Cancel and Yes, withdraw application.

Note: To stop without withdrawing, select Cancel or close the confirmation message. After you confirm, a message shows that your application is withdrawn. Your Complete your application card no longer appears on your dashboard.

What Happens After You Withdraw

Re-Apply to the Same Goal

A withdrawn application can be re-started if you are applying to the same goal. Use the same link you were previously sent.

The dashboard after withdrawal, showing an Application withdrawn confirmation and a message telling the learner to reach out to their manager to be invited again.

Apply for a Different Goal

To apply again, you need a new invitation from your employer. Once your employer invites you, you can start a fresh application or a new Skills Scan. If you do not see an invitation, reach out to your manager or employer.

If You Want to Edit a Submitted Skills Scan

Withdrawal removes your application completely. If you only want to edit a Skills Scan you have already submitted, withdrawal is not the right route. Contact the Multiverse Support Team for help with editing a submitted Skills Scan.
