Troubleshooting steps for perceived bugs with Multiverse Platforms

Updated over a week ago

Overview

This article is for those who have observed Multiverse platform pages not loading or working as expected.

Multiverse platforms aim to meet strict security requirements. This sometimes means that users who are using old browsers or unapproved browser extensions can experience issues.

Troubleshooting Platform Issues

If you are experiencing strange behaviour or pages not loading as expected, please follow these steps:

  1. Check your browser is not one of the following:

    • Chrome, version < 25

    • Safari, version < 7

    • Firefox, version < 23

    • Opera, version < 15

    • Internet Explorer, all versions

    • Safari on iOS, version < 7

    • Opera Mini, all versions

    • Opera Mobile, all version except 80

    • Android browser, version < 4.4

  2. If you are using a compatible browser, refresh it by logging off, clearing your cache, and logging back in. A simple google search will explain how to clear cache for your specific browser.

  3. Check you have not downloaded any browser extensions that have not been approved by your IT department. A simple google search will explain how to check your browser extensions for your specific browser.

  4. Check that your IT department's firewalls are not blocking the Multiverse platform page. If you are not sure, our Support Team will be able to provide you with a tool to check whether there are blocks in place.
