Guidance on completing the Hireflix process, troubleshooting common issues, and timeline of expected results

If your results from the Situational Judgement Test revealed possible areas for improvement, you will be prompted to complete a Hireflix interview. Hireflix is a one-way recorded interview to share more about why you’re interested in doing an apprenticeship.

The recording measures the same competencies as the Situational Judgement Test, in a one-way interview style format and allows for additional consideration towards your progression. Based on this interview, we will reassess your candidacy. Our team looks for competencies such as Grit, Curiosity, Interpersonal Skills, and Commitment through your video. It's helpful to organize your answers in the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result).

I finished my recording but still can’t proceed.

  • Scoring and updating of Hireflix results are reviewed manually and estimated to take up to 48 business hours. Admissions will review and progress or provide feedback to follow.

  • If upon review there is noted room for improvement, our team will provide feedback for 1 re-take.

    • As a reminder, answers should be around 1 minute each, and give us details into who you are and the experiences you have. This allows us to ensure an apprenticeship is right for you and that we can best support you along the way.

The question video/my video isn't loading, how do I proceed?

  • If you are experiencing difficulties in loading the question or response video for your Hireflix interview, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

    • Check your internet connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Try refreshing the page or accessing it from a different browser.

    • Clear your browser cache and cookies: Clearing the cache and cookies can help resolve any temporary issues. Go to your browser settings and clear the cache and cookies.

    • Disable browser extensions: Temporarily disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might be causing conflicts with video playback.

    • Update your browser: Make sure you are using the latest version of your web browser. Outdated versions can often lead to compatibility issues.

    • Try an alternative device: If possible, access the Hireflix platform from a different device to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem lies with the device you were initially using.
