Completing the Situational Judgement Test

How to complete the SJT, plus troubleshooting steps

Updated over 3 months ago

Overview

The Multiverse Situational Judgment Test (SJT) is designed to evaluate your response to scenarios you may encounter during the Multiverse Apprenticeship. This test helps gauge your readiness for the apprenticeship by assessing key abilities linked to success in the programme. Additionally, it provides insights into the level of support you may need before applying for jobs.

How to Complete the SJT

  • To access the SJT, find your personalized link in the "Next Steps" list on your profile dashboard. While we recommend completing the SJT in a single session, note that the link will expire 7 days after your initial access. Though there is no specific time limit, the assessment generally takes around 20-25 minutes.

  • For each scenario, you will be presented with four possible actions. Your task is to rank these actions from the most likely (1) to the least likely (4) that you would take.

  • To best complete the SJT, ensure you are in a quiet room with a stable internet connection and free from interruptions. When ranking the actions, only use the information given in the scenario to inform your choices.

Frequently Asked Questions

I received an email prompt to complete the SJT, but I already completed it. Do I need to take it again?

  • No, the Situational Judgement Test (SJT) should only be completed once. Upon completion, a confirmation screen will appear, and you will receive an email with further instructions. Your profile checklist will show a green checkmark indicating the SJT completion and suggest additional steps such as recording a video, verifying your right to work, and completing any necessary program skills evidence assessments.

  • If your results indicate areas for improvement, you may be prompted to discuss them further in a one-way recorded interview through Hireflix. This interview helps us assess your candidacy based on your expressed interest in pursuing an apprenticeship.

I selected an answer, but I am getting the error “Please answer this question”.

  • Each question requires you to rank the four provided actions. Ensure you do not assign the same rank number to more than one action; this may cause your previous answers to be de-selected. When ranking the actions, only consider the information given within the scenario.

I realised I scored my answers backwards. Can you reset my test?

  • If you have completed the test: Once the assessment is completed, you should receive an email prompting you to participate in a one-way recorded interview through Hireflix. This interview assesses the same competencies and serves as the next step in evaluating your candidacy. Please take your time and answer thoroughly.

  • If you have not completed the test: If you started the assessment but did not complete it and realized you were scoring backwards, clear your cookies, log back in and re-take the test.
