Section 3

Section 1: First time logging in (activation)

First-time access to a Multiverse platform is granted by an activation link, not a password reset. The activation link arrives in a welcome email sent when the account is created.

If you have never logged in before:

  1. Check your inbox for a welcome email from Multiverse. The sender domain is @multiverse.io.

  2. Open the email and click the activation link inside.

  3. Set a password when prompted. See Password requirements below.

If you cannot find the welcome email, do not request a password reset. A password reset link does not work on an account that has never been activated. Go to Section 3 for steps to recover the activation email.

Section 2: Resetting your password (existing account)

Use the password reset flow only if you have logged in to a Multiverse platform at least once before. The reset link is sent to the email address linked to the account.

To reset your password:

  1. Go to the login page of the Multiverse platform you want to access.

  2. Click Forgot your password?

  3. Type the email address linked to the account.

  4. Click Send reset link.

  5. Open the reset email in your inbox and follow the instructions.

The reset email is sent from a Multiverse system address on the @multiverse.io domain.

Password requirements

When setting a new password, follow these rules:

  1. The password must be at least 10 characters long.

  2. Avoid common passwords (for example, 123456789). A password that is too weak is rejected.

  3. A password previously exposed in a known data breach is rejected. Choose a different password if prompted.

Section 3: My activation or reset email has not arrived

The most common cause of a missing activation or reset email is a corporate email system blocking the @multiverse.io domain. Try the steps below in order.

  1. Check your junk and spam folders. Emails from new senders are often filtered there.

  2. Wait five minutes. Delivery is normally instant, but occasional delays happen.

  3. If you use a work email address, ask your IT team to allow the @multiverse.io domain. Corporate filters are the most frequent cause of missing emails.

  4. If none of the above works, contact Multiverse support through Atlas and confirm: the email address on your account, the platform you are trying to access, and whether this is a first-time login or a password reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions

Answers

Question: I have never logged in before. Can I use the password reset link to set my first password?

Answer: No. First-time access requires an activation link sent in the welcome email. A password reset link does not work on an account that has not been activated. If the welcome email cannot be found, follow Section 3 to recover it, or contact support to have the activation email resent.

Question: I have requested a password reset but no email has arrived. What should I do?

Answer: Most missing emails are caused by corporate email filters blocking the @multiverse.io domain. Check junk and spam folders first, then ask the IT team to allow the @multiverse.io domain. If the email still does not arrive, contact Multiverse support.

Question: Do I need a different password for Applied and the Multiverse Platform?

Answer: No. The login is shared between Applied and the Multiverse Platform. Resetting the password on one resets it for both.

Question: Why is my password rejected when I try to set it?

Answer: Passwords must be at least 10 characters long and must not be a common or previously breached password. Choose a longer, unique password.

Question: I keep being asked to reset my password every time I log in. What is happening?

Answer: Contact Multiverse support and quote this article. This usually indicates an account-level setting that needs adjusting on the Multiverse side.
