Understanding Your Apprentice's Duties Confirmation Email

Explains why an Apprentice Manager receives a duties confirmation email after their Apprentice's skills scan, what the no-login form asks, and what happens after it is submitted.

You may receive an email asking you to confirm some duties on behalf of your Apprentice. This article explains what the email is and what to expect.

Why you received this email

Multiverse asks Apprentice Managers to confirm which duties their Apprentice will be able to carry out in their role. This supports a compliance requirement for apprenticeship standards. Your Apprentice completed a skills scan and flagged some duties as "No" or "Not Sure." The email asks you to confirm or deny only those specific duties.

If your organisation is an enterprise account, such as the NHS, the form also includes four extra approval questions required for your sign-off process. You may receive this email even if your Apprentice's duties are all already confirmed, because these extra questions are required regardless.

What to expect from the form

  1. Open the link in the email. You do not need to log in or create an account.

  2. Read each duty listed. These are only the duties your Apprentice was unsure about, not the full list.

  3. Confirm or deny each duty.

  4. Answer the additional approval questions, if shown.

  5. Submit the form. You will see a confirmation screen once complete.

Note: The form does not save your progress. If you refresh the page before submitting, you will need to start again.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Questions

Answers

Question: Why am I being emailed a link instead of doing this on the platform?

Answer: This is a temporary process to meet a compliance requirement. A full in-platform version is planned for later this year.

Question: Is this a genuine Multiverse email?

Answer: Yes. This is a genuine compliance request. If you have not used a Multiverse account before, that is expected. The form does not need one.

Question: Can I go back and change my answers after submitting?

Answer: No. If you need to change an answer, complete the form again. Both submissions are kept on record.

Question: Is it a problem if I submit the form more than once?

Answer: No. This is expected and will not cause any issue.

Question: Is my data safe if the form does not require a login?

Answer: Yes. The form does not ask for or store your email address, and only Multiverse generates and sends the link, so it cannot be completed by anyone else who does not have it.

Question: I completed the form but nothing seems to have happened. Is that right?

Answer: Yes. There is no automatic next step visible to you. Your response has been recorded.
