The Apprentice should note that the PLA score is determined exclusively by the responses provided in the Skill Scan, rather than by previously obtained academic qualifications or job titles.
The Difference Between Qualifications and the PLA Score
It is common for an Apprentice to hold a high-level qualification (such as a degree or professional certification) while still showing "no relevant prior learning" on government forms. This occurs because the PLA process and the Qualification History section are two independent data points:
