If you're attempting to start a new apprenticeship application but find yourself on your previous apprenticeship homepage, it's likely because your email address is already associated with an accepted or completed Multiverse apprenticeship. This guide will walk you through the recommended steps to successfully create your new application.
Why This Happens: Our system links your email address to your apprenticeship history. When you log in with an email tied to a past or current completed/accepted programme, it directs you to that programme's homepage by default.
Step 1: Create Your New Candidate Account Using a Different Email Address
To ensure a smooth application process and avoid conflicts with your existing account, we strongly recommend using a different email address (e.g., a personal one) to create your new candidate profile.
Action: Sign up for the new apprenticeship using an alternative email address (e.g., your personal Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
Reasoning: This creates a distinct candidate profile, preventing the system from defaulting to your old apprenticeship details.
Step 2: Link Your New Account to Your Employer
To connect your new candidate account with your employer, you will need a Company Joining Code.
What is it? A unique code that associates your application with your specific employer and their available apprenticeship programmes.
Where to find it: This code is typically provided in the initial communication (often an email) sent by your employer or Multiverse when your company first partnered with us to offer apprenticeships.
Can't find the code? If you cannot locate your Company Joining Code, please don't hesitate to contact our Support Team. We're happy to help you retrieve it.
Step 3: (Optional) Update Your Email Address After Acceptance
Once your new apprenticeship application is successful and you have been accepted into your chosen programme, you can consolidate your accounts by updating your email address if you wish.
Action: Contact the Multiverse Support Team.
Request: Ask them to switch the email address on your new, active apprenticeship account to your preferred email (e.g., your work email). They will assist in detaching the email from your old account and applying it to your current one.
Benefit: This allows you to use your primary work email for your ongoing apprenticeship while preserving the record of your previous one.
