My manager can't answer the questions before the deadline

What to do if your manager is unable to answer their supporting questions within the 3-day deadline

Updated over a month ago

Overview

We understand that your manager plays a crucial role in your apprenticeship journey. To help you succeed, it’s important to have a chat with them before you apply. Remember, once you kick off the application process, your manager will receive a notification asking for their support. So, it's best to have that conversation beforehand! You can read more about the questions that will be asked here.

Once you’ve filled in your manager's details in your application, they will have 3 working days to provide their input on a few questions (which only take about 5-10 minutes to complete). This feedback is helpful for us to move your application forward.

My Manager is Out of the Office or Unavailable—What Should I Do?

If your manager is unavailable or busy and can't complete the questions before the deadline, don't worry! We encourage you to check in with them to see if there is any way they can squeeze it in, as it helps us get a complete picture of your application.

If they absolutely can’t respond, it won’t derail your application. We’ll look at your responses to our apprenticeship expectations agreement to keep things moving along. Rest assured, this won't affect your eligibility for the apprenticeship.
