How to demonstrate technical skills to be approved for Software Engineering roles

Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

If you're excited about diving into a technical apprenticeship in software engineering, we've got you covered. Show us your foundational skills, either by uploading some qualifying evidence or by trying out the free assessments from Multiverse.

Evaluation Methods

You have two ways to showcase your technical skills:

  1. Multiverse Coding Modules OR

  2. External Projects

Multiverse Coding Modules

Jump into an exciting 10-15 hour introductory coding course provided by Multiverse. It's a self-paced journey filled with engaging videos and activities that let you shine as an aspiring software engineer. Complete all ten modules with at least an 80% score to get your profile approved.

External Projects

Prefer to flaunt your technical skills through your own projects? No problem! Just make sure your projects meet these guidelines:

  • Use languages other than HTML/CSS. If your project doesn’t meet this, you’ll need to complete the Multiverse coding course.

  • Share project links (e.g., GitHub) and any related certificates.

  • Certificates should clearly show your name and the completion date.
