How to Access and Activate Your Tableau License
Navigating the process to access and activate your Tableau license is straightforward.
Step 1: Log in to the Community Hub
Access the following link to get started: Community Hub for Tableau. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Obtain Your License Key
Once logged in, scroll down to the section labelled 'Tableau'. Here, you will be able to find the license key necessary to activate the software. Keep this key handy as you'll need it for subsequent steps.
Step 3: Download Tableau Software
Proceed to download the latest versions of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep Builder by visiting this link: Download Tableau and Prep Builder. Click on “Download Tableau Desktop” and “Download Tableau Prep Builder” to start the download.
Step 4: Install and Initiate Trial
After you download it, please follow the instructions to install the software. Upon installation, you may land on a page offering a 14-day free trial. Continue with the installation, as you will soon update this with the permanent license key you obtained earlier.
Step 5: Register Product
During the software setup, you will be required to fill out a registration form. Enter your business email in the field provided; ensure this matches your email registered with Multiverse. For the organization field, enter 'Multiverse'.
